The Galaxy vape pen is one of the newest models in the Kandypens lineup. It has already racked up great reviews across the web, and for good reason. The engineers and designers at Kandypens paid close attention to every feature, inside and out. The result is a sturdy wax pen which produces impressive clouds of great-tasting vapor.
Kandypens’ Galaxy is one of the best vapes I’ve ever tried. It features dual quartz rods, titanium coils, a quartz crystal chamber, and three heat settings; this setup gives impressive clouds and incredible flavor. It’s a powerful, attractive vape, and I was excited to get my hands on it. I think we are going to see a lot of the Galaxy’s features copied over the coming months and years.

Up Close and Personal With The Kandypens Galaxy Wax Vape
I’ve been a longtime fan of Kandypens, and the Galaxy is no exception. In fact, I give this one a full 10 out of 10 – from the adjustable temperature to the large chamber with great air flow, everything about this vape is perfect.
Even my first impression of this model was strong; this is an attractive vape. Kandypens’ Galaxy wax vape comes in a classy cigarette-case style container, and offers a wide variety of colors and finishes, including black, white, red, purple, pink and turquoise, and limited edition models in silver and gold.
I chose the Galaxy vape pen in Crystal, which has a white, glossy, enameled body with gold accents and gold flecks. The finish is smooth and flawless, and doesn’t seem likely to scratch or chip away. The gold accents are highlighted by the K-shaped power button, which is lit from within by LED whenever the vape is in operation.
The All Around Best Vape Pen
Setup is quick and simple – charge the battery, fill the atomizer with concentrate using the included tool, turn on the power, and start vaping. If you’ve used any other vape pen, you will quickly figure out how to use this one, too.

While it’s possible to pack the chamber completely full with about .3g of wax, I prefer to use slightly less and fill it to about 75%. This seems to give the best performance, though the difference is small.
You can pack an amount down to about .1g (about the size of two grains of rice) and still get a lot of vapor. A fully-packed chamber gives about 50 four-second draws; the less you pack, obviously the fewer hits you’ll get.
You don’t need to take huge hits with the Galaxy vape pen. About four seconds gives a large cloud – on the lowest heat setting, you’ll need to draw for about six. There is no resistance, and the vapor is smooth and relatively cool. Beginners should definitely take short one- or two-second draws to begin; the amount of vapor the Galaxy wax pen produces can cause even experienced vapers to cough!
Pros:
- Large Capacity – If I had to, I would recommend this pen for the atomizer alone. From the large capacity, to the air holes, to the wider mouthpiece, to the quartz-lined chamber, every inch of the vape has been slightly redesigned. The result is great taste and performance.
- Great Taste – The use of quartz in the chamber and wicks has a positive impact on taste – it’s almost like taking a dab off a nail. Even after heavy use, the taste remains fresh.
- Smooth Hits – Fiber wicks can absorb oil and heat. This ultimately causes a burnt flavor, and it means they’re impossible to completely clean. In contrast, the quartz used in the Kandypens Galaxy vape’s rods and chamber remains cool and smooth, and doesn’t char or absorb oil. The vapor is so clean that it’s almost hard to use anything else after trying this one.
- No Clogging – Air flow in the Galaxy wax pen is fantastic, and it’s clear a lot of thought was put into the design. As you inhale, tiny holes in the chamber allow air to flow through unimpeded. This provides two benefits. First, the vape doesn’t clog. Ever. Even when packed full, it’s easy to hit. And second, this pen produces huge vapor clouds. Whether the chamber is packed full or almost empty, the hits are always impressive.
- Battery Life – Battery life of the Galaxy vape pen is great. But, what makes it even more interesting is that it allows you to choose whether to vape at 350, 390 or 430 degrees. I have never seen this feature in a wax pen, and it makes the unit far more user-friendly. I like to vape at the highest temperature because it produces the most vapor, but you may prefer a lower setting.
Cons: Can I say anything bad about the Kandypens Galaxy vaporizer?
- The Kandypens Galaxy is one of the best wax pens on the market right now. I have few complaints, because so much thought was put into the design. At first, I didn’t think I would find anything bad to say.
- Heating Colors – After using it for a while, though, I did discover one problem. I don’t like the colors they chose for the LED lights. Temperature is set by tapping the single button three times while the power is on. Red indicates low heat, green is medium heat, and blue is 430 degrees, the highest setting.
- It would be more appropriate if red indicated the highest setting. It doesn’t sound like a serious issue, but occasionally it gets confusing. I know it’s a small complaint, and yes, it’s easy to get used to the settings. Still, it’s an odd choice of colors. A quick look at other reviews confirms that I’m not the only one who had trouble remembering.
The Smoke Advisor Experience
There’s no question that this vape will be in my daily rotation for a long time. The vapor quality alone makes this a home run for Kandypens. Everything else – the smooth air flow, the adjustable temperatures, the wide mouthpiece, the battery life – is just a bonus. If the vapor tasted bad, none of the other features would make it a good buy.
Kandypens offers a wide variety of vape pens, and it can be overwhelming at first. If you are new to vaping, this is a great option. It’s easy to use, the price tag is more reasonable than many, and the quality of both the unit and the vapor are excellent.
If you’re more experienced with vaping concentrate, you’ll also be happy with this. It’s the closest you can get to hitting a quartz nail on a dab rig. You can pack it full in the morning, and carry it around all day. Unless your tolerance is massive, you won’t have to worry about an empty chamber or a dead battery before you get home.
