How It Works
To turn off the dry herbal vaporizer, you’ll just have to press the power button for 5 consecutive times. The power button has a display indicator which turns green immediately the device is powered on. To turn off the device, you will still have to press the power button for 5 consecutive times. This prevents any accidental turning on or off of the device.

The Micro-DX can go from an adequate 350 degrees all the way up to a fiery 430. The buttons allow you to exercise exceptional control over that range, incrementing by single degrees for a total of 80 different choices. (Although I’d like to meet someone who can tell the difference between a hit at 400 degrees and one at 405!)
Battery Life
According to Kandypens, this vaporizer should be good for up to four hours on a single charge. I didn’t test it for quite that long, but I definitely put some heavy use on it and noticed no reduction in strength by the end of my testing. Like most vaporizers the Micro-DX charges via a standard Micro USB connection.

Design and feel
The K-Vape Micro-DX has a professional and sleek design that is surely appealing, outdoing most of other similar vapes. It comes in sleek back. Has a lightweight feel with the usb charging port on the bottom. Also a big button to turn on and an oled display letting you know the temperature.
How to take care of it?
In case I haven’t made it clear yet, this is an amazingly easy vaporizer to use and care for. Charge it regularly and keep it loaded with fresh product and it should hold up for years. Like all of Kandypens’ products, it’s covered by a lifetime warranty, which gives the user real peace of mind.
Pros:

- OLED Screen – The OLED screen is a welcome addition. The Micro-DX is free of uncertainty; the user always knows exactly what temperature their vaporizer is set for and whether or not it’s ready for hitting.
- True Convection – Vaporization was very even and thorough, delivering maximum performance from the amount of product loaded into the chamber.
Cons:
- Limited Styles – The only bad thing I was able to point out, is that the unit is designed with a single color. Therefor you will not have any styling options to choose from.

I think it’s abundantly clear that I found this Kandypens vaporizer deeply impressive. Even though an herb-only vaporizer doesn’t always meet my needs, I simply can’t deny the clear level of quality workmanship and technical expertise on display in the Micro-DX. For anyone whose primary vaping interest involves dried botanicals the Micro-DX is definitely a worthwhile investment. I pegged it at nine out of ten above; the only point holding it back is the steep price tag. Of course, this is a brand new vaporizer and it’s definitely state of the art. Patient buyers might well see the price become more reasonable in the future.
